I like this Defense. Especially the secondary. Gonna always be challenged by a run threat QB.

I don’t know if it’s being scared, we are throwing a lot. It’s being incredibly unimaginative. For two years, they’ve run almost the exact same play every time they go under center. We try to get cute at weird times and run the same play on repeat.
 

There's a Nebby hat running free on every Gopher running play. I haven't paid enough attention to the O-line to seen if they're missing blocks or just getting beat physically.
 



As craptacular as this has been the Gophers are still very in it

Maybe scared isn't the right word, but it seems like they don't want to do anything else but what worked with Bateman and Johnson.
 







If Tyler isn’t going to be effective running the ball, he should be back there returning kicks.
 






Special Teams has done more damage to us than anything tonight. Hitting the punter? On 4th and a jillion? Terrible KO return coverage? We can focus on that though.
 

PJ doesn’t really deserve Rossi. He outperforms PJ almost every week.
 


First game of the season. New leaders are getting a baptism of fire.

They actually threw downfield then. Morgan averaged 11 yards per attempt then. We keep throwing 5-9 yard outs that have to fly 20 yards through the air. Not a recipe for success.
 


Hard out there for a QB when they can hold us to 2.4 YPC with 6 in the box

PJ needs to keep them from folding up... but I'm not that confident in his ability to do it.
