Well, that was the best Gopher game in quite some time. I didn't think they could do it and boy did they prove me wrong.

The defense was outstanding - as good as any Fleck team of the past. That's saying something because he's had some good defenses.

The offense? They were as good as we can expect a Fleck offense to be.

I never had a reason to rush the field when I was a student. Then again 80% of the games during my education era were played in the Metrodome because "they" moved us there.
