It's a matter of Semantics. If someone started a thread saying, "Mitch Leidner is not a good D1 QB, or "Mitch Leidner doesn't play like a D1 QB," then that would be fair game. But, as the OP pointed out, he is a D1 QB - he's playing QB at a D1 school.
he is also a D1 QB that has a winning record for his career. I dare say that, with a little research, someone could come up with a list of "big-name" recruits who did not have a winning record in college.

Yeah, I get frustrated with Leidner, but as long as he starts for the Gophers, I will support him and hope he does well.
