The answer depends on what we are trying to accomplish. If the answer is to win games...as a whole our non-conference schedule offers that.Serious question. What is a good matchup for this team?
Shouldn’t their lack of height and length also be an advantage to us? Height at every position is clearly the direction Ben wanted to go with this roster, so why shouldn’t this be a strength for us to exploit?
If the answer was to make us better the fastest...then we needed to schedule better teams to force us to get better to compete or lose bad and learn.
Big Ten, there probably aren't too many good matchups.
More specific to question...I don't know...Battle has only played one game, Carrington only a couple and without seeing them practice as a team knowing how they hope to play it is tough to know how they view their strengths.
If we gain an advantage tonite getting their two best players in foul trouble...it seems our strength is Payne inside. Establish him. Drive to the hoop, (Henley, Cooper) don't avoid contact and draw fouls. Go inside out and pass out to hit threes from Carrington, Battle, Garcia, Thompson. That seems like what we could be good at.
