Thanksgiving meal behind us now, time to shake off some cobwebs, get ready to crash the boards and come away with an efficient win before we head into the Big Ten/ACC Challenge.

GET 'ER DONE PITINO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jake is a good player, leads UNO with 15pts/game followed by Thurman 14.6 and Patterson 14.2 pts/gm. White has fouled out once as have Hollins and Jackson, so sure would be great to get those players in foul trouble early one. Overall team stats, UNO fg% .465 MN .417, 3pt% UNO .315 MN .342, UNO FF .741 MN .777, Offensive Rebs UNO 57 MN 45. Turnovers UNO Patterson 14 Hollins 10 MN Dorsey 14 Morris 13. UNO averages 89pts/gm MN 71pts/gm....GO GOPHERS

And the game isn't televised. Seriously? I know the Gophers aren't remotely close to being on the same level as Kentucky or North Carolina but do you think either of these teams play a game that isn't televised in their local market? Doubtful. Why is the Big Ten Network opting to show a "classic" football game over a current and live basketball game?? ESPN3? Whatev.

It's getting better, but if we let them score 80, I have a bad feeling.

I feel like Bakary just needs a lot more coaching work.

The ESPN scoreboard operator is terrible takes them a couple of minutes to add points after a basket.

Starting to wonder about Konate's ceiling. He's not getting off the floor at all.

That should have been a foul in the back court. The guys shoved McBreyer down. With all the million tickey-tack stuff they let that go.

Would be nice to see the freshman hit some shots. Good looks but nothing going down. Mason so much more advanced shooting the ball last year compared to the kids this year.

Gotta love the travel call on Neb-Omahah

Well in theory they can't shoot that well for a whole game...

What is worse: the Gophers half court defense or the Gophers transition defense?

UNO: TOTALS
56.3% 27.3% 60.0% REB: 20

MN
42.4% 50.0% 66.7% REB 17

Look at it positive. Every loss puts closer to getting rid of Pitino.

Transition D has to improve or we'll lose.

Post defense isn't superb either. A little too much ball watching and not enough man watching at times.

Still, the Gophers' play definitely improved through the half and I like our chances in the second. We might not clear the point spread though.
