We all know the story, Gophers start off looking good, the crowds into it it's a close game for about a quarter & a half before MSU takes a 17 point lead into Halftime. Gophers come out in the 2nd half, score a FG, MSU responds with 2 more scores, TCF is empty yada yada yada 2 minutes left in the game Pad'em Weber is still in there & puts up 60 meaningless yards & a TD & we talk more about coaching candidates...

Hopefully I'm wrong...

Minnesota 24, Michigan State 45...
 

Game is away ... but I think you're being optimistic with that final score.
 

Mosi Tatupu (or whatever that Freshman DT's name is) sparks the D with 4 sacks, including one that knocks Cousins out of the game as the Gophers cruise to a 32-6 victory.
 

My prediction:
*groan*
*sigh*
*sh!!*
*come on!*@!#$*
*groan*
*man, we suck*
*turns off game to do house chores in the second quarter*
 

I'm not against having an official game thread, but I am just wondering why some of you guys don't use the gopherhole chatroom feature during games. No more constantly refreshing the page, and all of our b*tching, mocking and complaining can be expressed in real time!

Maybe i'm missing something. Just curious to know why so many of you are still doing it this way.

A loss by Mich. today against Ill. and I think Dick Rod's walking papers will be officially signed.
 


Given our completely lost season, and the ramifications upon wisconsin's season if we win today..... I'm not going to feel bad at all if MSU whoops up on us.

And we decide to look like a DII team with the maroon pants. I guess if you're going to play at that level, you might as well complete the look.
 

How is that a DII look? IMHO our uni combos are best when the pants and helmet match.

Time For The Spermy Rant

Repeated ad nauseum this year . . .

our . . . Special . . . Teams . . . suck.

It is really pathetic that a D1 program has a less than 50:50 shot at 3 from anything outside the 25.

Staggeringly inexplicable.

Really? Why did he have to lay out for it then?

Typical Gophers. Dropped INT...TD the next play. I am going to pull my hair out and it is only 11:16. We cannot convert on our chances to score or take it away...
 

Could of had two picks that drive but our defense seems to prefer to settle for the TD
 

And there is your season in a goddam nutshell. Nice kickoff return, decent opportunities to put points on the board squandered followed by not one, but two missed opportunities at picks. Frustrated Incorporated.
 


Really...Delay of Game. It looked like they got that off. Either way, inexcusable.
