Not shocked they are favored but a little surprised it is by 6.5 points. Both teams limping to the finish line with 1-4 records in last 5. Their loses have been closer than ours but given the teams split during the season this should be a solid matchup.

Hopefully Target Center has a home game feel and the guys come out hitting shots early to get some confidence going.
 







This is a VERY gettable game. In conf. statistics, MSU and MN are comparable. Both teams rebound ok, shoot ok, play about the same slowish tempo. MSU turns it over less, so that could be a thing. One contrast that could favor MN--MSU allows a LOT of 3 attempts (second most in conf), and MN takes a LOT of 3's (sec most). If the officials call a fair game, not advancing Izzo out of Big Ten self promotion, then MN can definitely win in front of home crowd.

Michigan State has things to work on, that's college ball we see in other teams this season too.

Garcia for Minneaota continues to get better and better.

Christie had five 3's against MSU last time but has been struggling with his shooting lately, that's college basketball.

It may come down to how Hawkins plays. He does a good job getting others shots.

Ben Johnson has "done one he'll of a good job. The best of his career is yet to come."

Related, he misses Flip Saunders.
