Prime time under the lights. Halloween night. Beautiful late fall weather. Little Brown Jug on the line. Khaki pant wearing head coach on the sideline. Emotional moment of silence for Flip. Overwhelming emotional undertone all night with Kill.

All that is thrown out the window once the opening kick-off is done. Then its won in the trenches. Win the turnover battle and we have a shot.

I didn't expect to be writing this for this game, but GET 'ER DONE TRACY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 


Michigan will be well represented. I was at Fogo De Chao tonight. There were a couple of tables of their fans. A smug and confident bunch. One of the staff smiled and said, "Hopefully you don't drop that like your punter:) I gave him an extra tip...
 

I kind of feel like it's the beginning of a new season again. Don't really know what to expect until they go pad to pad. How this team responds will set the tone for the rest of the season.

Prognosticators all picking Michigan - I'll be happy if the Gophers make a game of it. Hope to not see the Kent State game offense.
 

My guess is we will miss the beginning of the game. The Tech-Ok St. game will go long and the game on ESPN News is going even longer. That game is still in the 3rd quarter. This is why I wish they would change the clock stopping on 1st downs rule. The games are so long that it's impossible to squeeze all the games in for TV.
 



I think you are right. At least the TT v OSU game is somewhat entertaining. Although watching more undefeated no defense Big 12 teams get old...

The first part of the 4th quarter has been hilariously bad on defense. It's taken a good 20 minutes for just those 5 minutes to run off the clock. I think there has been 3 or 4 commercial breaks during that time frame.
 



Do people like watching the Big 12? I'm sorry, but the defense in this conference is terrible. I'd much rather watch a 10-7 defensive battle in the Big 10 than a track meet on grass like the Big 12 is.
 

so glad the game was moved up to 6pm so I can miss the first quarter. God, I hate ESPN - schedule more time between games!

I feel like many of their games are a college version of Tecmo Super Bowl. Seems so easy for the offenses to move down the field and score.

I always hate seeing JOe's pregame tweets...they're full of depressing injury news. At least nobody got hurt in warmups, I suppose. <smh>
