Luckily it’s also the reality that the freshmen and Garcia are our best players. The same hope is still there for the future and it’s on Ben to fill those gaps
 

Making mistakes is fine playing hard but it just seems like Battle is careless.
 

Time for Battle to sit for about 10 minutes. He is a liability at this point. If this is his game, good riddance.
 





A lot of phantom calls on Henley and JOJ tonight. Frustrating when Maryland is overplaying everything the same way on defense.
 

15 pts is pretty tough to come back from against MD
 




Amazing how much Henley has grown. He’s going to be a great player. Payne will also be an all conference guy. Carrington and JOJ look like good role players. 4/4 last year. Ben gotta keep hitting on them though as his transfer record is nowhere near as sterling
 

Nice recognition by players and coach- pounding it inside against Maryland - they have no bigs that can foul anymore! Well done! Keep doing it.
 

If Henley is really looking for playing time, that is wide open for the young man next year and going forward. Not sure why he would leave if that truly is the reason.
 





Perhaps we should start referring to those 50/50 balls as 20/80 balls -- we rarely get any loose balls if we have to scrap for them.
 


MD shooting in the bonus with 14 minutes left in the half. Big Ten officiating at its finest.
 

Have no chance when the veterans have completely checked out. Very disappointing performance by them.
 

Current players need to get better, can't lose any of them. And need to get better players from the portal. Just seems that simple.
 



Payne is worth watching - the others not so much - JOJ maybe but he is in foul trouble
 

I think Payne 100% making the case he is our best player. Just a monster down low
