I've been a Gopher fan since the early 1960s and I'm trying to recall these positives you mention (just kidding). I'm for the Gophers through thick and thin (even very thin).

This Cooper Rush kid has pretty much been given the bum's rush today. He's looked terrible.

My Dad was a junior in high school school when they went to the Rose Bowl. I have programs from my grandparents attending games when Bernie Bierman coached. It's been a long time!

I don't see Barry Alvarez or Joe Tiller on the opposing sideline, so that is at least somewhat comforting.

somebody tweet mortell a congrats for me. He was awesome today.
 

Was about to say it was silly to take the penalty instead of calling timeout with one second left but clearly that 5 yards was just what Mortell needed to pin them deep :)
