My goodness, what’s going on in practice for so many guys to get hurt? Definitely changes the equation, especially on defense. The lineup won’t look much different than it did against Wisconsin. And it was very lackluster.

Sad indeed. On the gold out game day we wore maroon to provide a contrast, and on the maroon out game day we wore . . . maroon. Go figure. We are the GOLDEN Gophers!

A large % of D1 football players have surgery after the season. These aren’t all practice injuries. If you had a knee scope in late November there isn’t a lot of incentive to rush back for this game.
