As someone who doesn’t pay any attention to basketball that isn’t Gophers or March Madness…how the hell does Rutgers have a losing record??? I just saw they have two projected top 5 picks on their roster. That’s crazy. Yeah I understand they are freshmen and all that. Just wild.

Their draft picks are both freshmen and one of them was injured for a pretty good piece of the season. Talent upgrade. Experience downgrade. Aren’t playing the defense we’re used to seeing. If they’re on, they are hard to beat. If they are not, they can be bad. I’m hoping they are bad today.

Well...I can't actively root against the Gophers, but it appears we are locked into the 11v 14 game no matter what. Win 11 lose 14. So if it's the same outcome, but a loss helps an awful coach out the door....

Not relevant to your initial position and frankly I wasn't even challenging it. Some view winning a few games in February as harmful to the overall health of the program as it might lead to a different decision on the head coach. You don't. That's fine. I was honestly just curious if you felt the same as it pertains to pro sports. Never mind.
