Our squad can ball, we just don't have depth. That will come, but until then, this team is so well coached and fun to watch. I so wish they are rewarded with many more wins this season, and tonight is a solid shot at a road win. Ohio State is solid, but they are beatable if we put 40 minutes together and stay out of foul trouble.

We've suffered 3 straight loses, despite playing well, so hopefully the guys aren't discouraged. Keep cutting back door, keep pressure D, keep turnovers down and hit open shots.

Let's do this Gophers!

GET 'ER DONE MEDVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ohio State lacks depth as well, although they just brought in AARP member Puff Johnson. Buckeyes go seven deep, maybe eight with Puff. Key will be if JCJ can keep hitting threes and pulling their bigs from the hoop and stay out of foul trouble and if Reynolds can limit Thornton. Those two things go in our favor we have a legit shot in this one

So is this the game where Puff Johnson gets to begin his inexplicable 6th year of eligibility?

Team has been playing well, hopefully can get a win to show for it. Need another post road win snack stop video although I suppose that might not happen since this would be a flight not bus trip.

We need to have the coaches mic'd up again at Ohio St. to get another terrific road win tonight! Loved it!

2022: 24 games - so

"In a complaint filed in Franklin County Court, Johnson and his attorneys argued that Penn State's trainers and medical staff misdiagnosed a right wrist injury originally suffered on Dec. 10, 2024. He didn't miss any time with the wrist injury -- sitting out one game due to a concussion -- but reinjured the wrist against Michigan State on Jan. 15. He underwent surgery for a broken wrist one week later and missed the rest of the season.

Johnson and his attorneys cited an orthopedic surgeon who said Johnson's wrist never fully healed from its initial injury and that he shouldn't have been cleared to return to play. As a result, they argued, the misdiagnosis caused Johnson to appear in more games than the NCAA's redshirt thresholds allow.

Ohio State filed for a medical hardship waiver on Johnson's behalf after he committed to the Buckeyes last spring, but the NCAA denied it.

In November, Johnson sued the NCAA in federal court for immediate eligibility but was denied; one month later, the court also denied Johnson an evidentiary hearing.

Johnson subsequently changed counsel and dismissed his federal suit, refiling in state court.

On Friday morning, Judge Sheryl K. Munson granted Johnson a temporary restraining order, giving him immediate eligibility at Ohio State."
