Give Ihnen the run. He earned it last game. And at some point we have to understand the results are similar with either he or Curry out there anyway. Ihnen can hit glass, he rebounds well when he knows he has to.

Also, why not build him up towards the end of this year so he is confident going into next season? I like Curry as a person, but as a player he doesn't give much anymore anyway.
 


8pm is a nice game time for me when I'm at home watching. Gets a little late on a work night if you're attending 8pm games.
 

Hearing rumor that we are going to be without an additional starter besides Robbins tonight. No idea who or any kind of confirmation though. Anyone else hear anything other than strictly rumor?

If that's the case we should all be jumping at that Indiana -6.5
 



Just placed my $20 bet on the Gophers +6.5 tonight. I've never been able to pull for Indiana except during the NCAA tournament. I believe Minn. can stay within a touchdown tonight & possibly win outright. Good luck!

I hope Pitino will play the injury excuse card too hard. We have been very lucky up to now relative to many other teams. We'll find out if we really have depth.

SF: Williams

Options:

Curry: limited mobility established veteran. You know what you get and you get what you get and little more. 65% chance of starting.

Freeman: Big body who is rumored to still be on the team. Could provide a large presence in the middle and five fouls on defense. Offensive hole who adds nothing but an occasional garbage bucket. 10% chance of starting.

Mitchell: Stick has even less minutes than Freeman if that is possible. Has some talent though but no physical substance to establish position. -10% chance of starting.

Ihnen: Had a good game last time out. Has started at PF in the past. If he starts, it basically means we don't have a center. 35% chance of starting.

Omersa: He opts back in seeing the Gophers need him and finding out tattoo removal is a very delicate process. Starts at center and saves the day with a double double. February 17th becomes Jarvis Omersa day forever more for Gopher basketball!
