The last two games are tough to take, but the good news is we're so close to have won both and found ourselves truly in Tournament talk. But, now we're headed to Illinois where we seem to never win and are facing 3 straight BT loses. No one cares about close loses or late leads without W's.

So time to put our big boy jerseys on and fight like heck. Illinois is good, they are physical and they would love to bury us early.

We need to play with confidence. Play free and get rugged in the paint.

GET 'ER DONE MEDVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Illinois is big, they are deep and they are at home I am guessing will be down tenish at half time, and Illinois will blitz us in the first eight in the second half and get up 20. Once we hit that media time out I would just put Gizi, Spencer, Turner, Grover and Shinholster in and let the starters stay fresh for Ohio State

Quitting does not appear to be in Niko's DNA.

"They may be big. They may be deep. They may be at home. But, they're on the schedule, so, we got a play 'em." Willard Tuomi, RIP

Swing hard and swing early. If we miss at all, just take the L and move on. Life on the road is hard in the B1G but go Gophers!

It is just one of those games where the Gophers will have to shoot lights out just to stay in it. Shoot 40%+ from 3pt range and limit turnovers and see what happens.

I agree and I hope I am wrong and we're still in this in clutch time, but if we're not it may be wise to give the starters a break at the end, gotta play the long game sometimes when you know you only have seven reliable bodies

Yea that, plus get their big forwards in foul.trouble..

Get on the phone, call USC, "Can you send us that flop circus playbook?"

I fear that we may be looking at a 30+ point loss today. Our lack of size, depth and athleticism will be exploited at will by this extremely talented Illini squad on the road.

It would not be shocking. They are one of perhaps 4 teams that we just can't match up. Need to be red hot to compete.

Tuff match up but a great start, need to keep up the strong defense and we have a chance!
