***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA AT ILLINOIS IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

The lack of bench points is concerning but some of that is that the two key guys off the bench right now are not in there for offense in Carrington and Fox. The 7 man rotation has been working pretty well.

No doubt. Just tough to play 7 and have 5 score as a game plan against good teams.

Dang. Good game but they couldn’t figure out how to guard these guys. Season is over now IMO, short of winning the BT Tourney

Ihnen shows up when it doesn't matter

???....down only 7 with 50 seconds left and you don't even foul to try to see if they might miss a free throw and then just let them walk in for a layup......That is the inexperience with CBJ.
That was soft - Felt like we were happy with losing by 7-10

Honestly can't complain about this team. Lots of effort and never quit. Short end of the stick, but nice effort. No reason to not believe winning out is possible.
Yeah, but easier said then done....need to find to way to finish a big win...that is next hurdle for this team and CBJ....pretty soon though CBJ is going to have his experiences too and know...Lot of veteran coaches in the Big 10.

Gophers shoot 60% from the field and 70% from 3 and still lose.

Did you see IL missing foul shots?

I was fine playing it out, much more enjoyable to watch.

Illinois is one of the few teams in the country skilled enough offensively for that to happen. Shoot like that against pretty much anyone else and it is an easy win.
