***OFFICIAL MIAMI OF OHIO AT MINNESOTA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Their Dbs can't cover us in single coverage

They likely want him to for sure be 100% for next week.
I bet you're right, plus the other recievers get time. Got some playmakers, just need experience and time.

Potts is looking good... imagine what Ibrahim would look like in this game

Hate the wildcat there. Lineup under center and run the ball.

Guess we're going to just try to run it down their throat

Any chance we'll ditch that worthless wildcat package? Didn't work last week and looks like crap here too.
It seems Seth was the only capable person for it. Unless they change it up somehow, it's time to move on from it.

man had a chance to basically put our foots on there neck on that drive

There’s only one thing we could be doing out of the wildcat….so stupid and predictable.

One of these times they need to throw it to Morgan, especially on the short side of the field. He was wide open on that 3rd down, totally unguarded.

So are we gonna be ultra conservative, still probably win but not really get better or are we going to actually run an offense?

Really not liking this version of the wildcat because there is no real threat of a throw with the RB package that is in. Defense can essentially bring almost everybody to the line, overstocking one side.

It worked with him because there was the threat of a pass. Makes zero sense there on 3rd and 1. Our offense line should be capable of driving them back for an easy one. Stupid to get fancy there.

They've done that before but they had ex-QB Greene making the throw.

Agreed 100%.
Morgan under center. Ruschmeyer at I back. Potts or whomever at RB. This formation has the latent threat of a play action pass that must be respected. Way, way better than the goofy wildcat that is both predictable and had no threat of a pass. 🧐🧐

Why do almost all non-QBs look like shot putters with a football?

A ton of those guys played QB in high school. Most were the best athletes in their school/area and could do most things they tried well. They all play catch every day at practice.

I've known all sorts of random dudes who weren't nearly as good of an athlete as Trey Potts or Cam Wiley who could whip a spiral over them mountains over there. A P5 skill position guy should be able to hit an unguarded player 20 yards away.
