That would mean De'Andre, Hollins, and Mason would have to play 38 minutes a game and that means less pressing and less turnovers created. Which then means our offense would be even worse because we play best offensively when we are able to run. We're not a good half court offensive team.

I just don't think he has much of a choice. Losing McNeil has really hurt.

Are you sure about that? I'm not sure they will, either, but they are a much better team than the one that struggled in nonconference.

Nevertheless, the Gophers are mostly playing even with them (except they are getting out rebounded as usual. Purdue is moving the ball a little better but throwing it away more often. Gophers have to work to get better shots, try to hit more of them, and rebound a little better in the second half.

Just rewound it and watched it again. The ball absolutely hit the backboard first. It wasn't even close. Go back to the 1:10 point of the first half.

I agree they're mediocre if Purdue beats lonely 3-8 Minnesota would be there most impressive road win however with how tough they are at home those three road wins will probably get them in. If they hang on. Minnesota has owned the second half at home this year. Bad starts did them in in their two loses

Not going to argue with you. I am a big pitino supporter, did not care for tubby at all, but I am just seeing mistakes he is making and pointing them out...when a guy makes selfish plays I don't care how he responds his ass is going to be sitting next to me on the bench. If you let him play you are condoning his actions. This is common knowledge in the basketball community. It is alright to make mistakes at let these players play on, but to continue these mistakes and selfish ones at that no no. Obviously pitino's way didn't work by letting him play.

So I got that going for me, which is nice.
 

Interesting that mathieu of all guys is getting in the ear of Morris for challenging defenders at the hoop instead of passing off. He should probably have passed those last two though.

Lucky that last steal and drive by Morris wasn't a charge...dude has to give the ball up sometimes.
 

3rd time this game we had a 2 on 1 break and their wasn't a pass. Morris lucky he didn't get called for a charge on the last one.
 




Morris is bound and determined not to get an assist today.

Joe Lunardi, Jerry Palm, and most of all SS. Plus the Vegas Bookies who made this clearly mediocre team a 6 point underdog at 3-7 Minnesota.
 

Morris = selfish with the ball. or Morris = without vision on the court. or Morris = incredibly rock headed or ... OMG, he could be all of that.
 



We have shut them out the first 4+ minutes of the 2nd half. Keep it up Gophers!!!

I just don't understand why this team stops passing the ball and running offense when they get a 10 point lead. It is a coaching issue to me....Pitino has to keep them focused when they get up!

I was going to post that this game is in the bag, but it is not.
 

I'm not comfortable with this team and a less than ten point lead.
 

I am amazed at the silence of the bitchers right now.
