Remember we were down at the half last year. And I think it was worse than this. Just hoping for some adjustments on defense.
 

That was a vomit inducing first half. Obviously can't be too upset with Claeys given how well his defense has performed up to this point, but man that was a pathetic half of football. It's nice to see the offense moving the ball, but they'll need to be some adjustments on that side of the ball too, it's disappointing that 3rd and short is such a struggle.
 

If the defense shows up and hold Nebraska to 3 or less in the second half, we will win. But that's a huuuuuuuuge ask given the game so far.
 

21-7 last year. Lots of time left but the effort n D needs to go up about 50%. Really poor. Can't stop the run, can't pressure the QB, screens are working, arm tackling. Claeyes has his work cut out for him. Lets go!

Failure to press the QB and stop the run have been issues for this defense for a couple of years. Fitting that they sacked the QB at the most meaningless time. We'll see if they can recover like they did in last year's game

Is the plan to limit yardage to the 3rd down play?

Come on. Nebraska's secondary absolutely sucks. Let's make them pay.
 


This O-line is putrid...we may not have a good o-line for two years (if ever, under Limey)
Let's be honest, all of the running success we had last week was RBs breaking bad
tackles.
 

Lets get a safety.

He looked good on that last punt return. I remember seeing him in the fall practices and he was really struggling catching the ball so it's good to see him get that down.
 


Westerkamp a 1st round draft pick? these announcers are insane.
