Can't believe I'm saying this but we need Leidner to have success throwing if our running game is going to open up.
 


I just think our running game needs to improve. Passing hasn't been too bad today. Gotta get more with the ball on the ground.
 

Their middle is tough. Gonna have to be creative or keep pounding and hope for the best and hope the d past arts making some stops.
 



Just our luck. Force the fumble and it helps them get a first down.
 






Good God...fumble the ball, perfect bounce, first down...we're doomed.
 


According to Joe, Mortell is hurt now too. Keith may be out. Looks like Lingen got banged up too. Getting tired of this.
 





That's all out of Mitch's hands though, bad D and Brooks fumble. No QB can overcome that. If everyone else shows up and Mitch keeps performing they'll be fine.
 



Hooray, Mitch shows up and the defense doesn't. Something new to bitch about!!
 



Just need to make sure we stay close into the fourth quarter. Nebraska can't seem to close this year.
 



Right now they're playing with a lot more passion, and they are executing a good gameplan. Need to hold to 3 here.
 



Maybe someone addressed this, but who are we out on defense?

Be lucky we don't lose this game by 20. The one strength (defense) is entirely absent today. Look completely unprepared for their running game. What the hell did they do this week in practice (and yes, I know we're injured like whoa, just feel like bitching atm)
 

Adjustments on D don't seem to be working. I think we have to pressure Armstrong. However we do it
