Thankfully we stuck around despite the 3 point barrage. I think we're in a good spot here. That last basket hurt though. Hopefully there's no way IU can keep up this shooting

They average .399 for 3pt% in conference. Right now they are shooting .500.

Not much of a difference, but a miss or two and the gophers capitalizing on those couple misses would put the gophers in the lead.

.500 3pts is insanely red hot.

If he was 6'7 or 6'8 he wouldn't even be playing college basketball.
Anyways, down 6 at halftime is actually pretty good considering how hot IU was. If they can cool down and we can get it together for a strong half of basketball, I like our chances.
 



That last play drives a coach crazy. Our defense flat out quit after the shot went up, waiting for the horn. Ugh!!

Man, if only Mo wouldn't have turned the ball over, Indiana wouldn't have made a single three that half.

Yeah, it could be worse, but I wish they wouldn't have scored that last bucket. If Mo can get going in the second half we should have an advantage there. Elliot was mostly pretty bad in the first half although he might have unintentionally helped if he knocked Troy Williams out.

Yogi does the same thing almost every time he dribbles into the paint area: passes out to a wing shooter for a three point shot. The wing defenders need to stay closer to the wing shooters, instead of moving in to help, and trust the post player to stop Yogi if he tries to go to the bucket. This team shouldn't be defended like Iowa. They're far more dangerous from the perimeter.
 


I would imagine IU will clean up the turnovers in the 2nd half. It's a shame we didn't get more points off them in the first half. Hopefully we can at least hit the defensive boards better. That could at least allow us to stay within striking distance.
 

If only Eliason could rebound or box out or any of those types of things... I wouldn't even mind that he can't score.

Hopefully this will come down to which team makes the most free throws. So far we're not at 60%....oh wait.
 


The starting five and Mason must stay out of foul trouble. IU has better athletes and Yogi is a master at finding the open guy. IU will get their boards as we cant match up with them. I was concerned about that coming in.

Lets hope the temp in the IU locker room is really cold as the Gophers showed they can't shut them down.

King has to get good looks, Buggs must stay agressive and we need to keep working the ball to give Hollins his chance to do what he can do.
 


Dont matter if the cool off if you can't rebound.

O boy. Immediate kill shot.
 


Good time out. We could stop some of this if we could grab rebounds.
 

They are going to let Lil Dre and Morris shoot any time that they want.
