Losing at home to Northwestern 2 years in a row. Allowing ~35 3's in two games. Honeymoon is over, Richie.
 



Northwestern looks like a much, much better team than us. And that is really embarrassing.
 



Outplayed, out coached, outclassed so far. Embarrassing performance.
 



Close to turning this one off which is something I rarely do and not because I don't think Minnesota can win the game. This has been an atrocious performance on both sides of the ball as bad as this team has played all season. There's little energy on the court and they basically are just giving the game away. It' mind blowing that we'd see this type of effort after most of this same crew lost to Northwestern last year.
 





We just aren't a good defensive team if we aren't forcing turnovers in bunches. Our lack of rebounding makes it even worse.
 

Such awful defense and rebounding from this team, night after night.

A complete lack of fundamentals and poor positioning.
 

Cats know that when Eliason is in, the pick & roll with Olah will not be stopped.
 

We aren't bad defensively - we're aggressive. And that puts us out of position. We don't have good rebounders, and the aggressive defense exacerbates the issue. We either need to be more athletic, or get Mbakwe 0.5.
 


There's soft Mo Walker with the killer allowing Olah that O-board and put back
 


And now the refs have started picking on the Gophers to add onto the Gophers' incompetency. argh so difficult to watch.
 


Terrible call just now on our home court, should have been a Northwestern turnover...now they can bleed another 35 seconds
 

As much as we malign Hollins, we need him out there right now.
 

Down by eight I think you may have to leave Andre in there.
 

Not as worried about the front court next year....whoever we play can't be much worse.
