The most surprising thing to me about the first half - other than a nice lead at halftime - is how poor Indiana has looked on offense. The Gophers aren't even getting much pressure on the QB, they are just making mistakes and haven't displayed a good game plan. Except for the one 3rd down screen they had, the Gophers have done a nice job against their screen plays. Arguably, the Gophers were even ready for that one too, just missed the tackle. I don't understand what their coaching staff is doing. Roberson has looked bad, thus far. And they haven't put in their other (Sudfelt ?) QB. If you "have 2 QBs," and you only use one and that guy is struggling, then you are doing a bad job of coaching, IMO.
Happy with the 1st half. Gotta keep them guessing, I like what they're doing with getting Nelson on the rollout, some screen plays, and Leidner and Nelson in on the running game.
