I'm so pumped for this game that I considered starting the actual "in-game" thread a few days ago! Little needs to be said about how significant a win would be. Embrace the weather, embrace the underdog role, just GET AFTER IT!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm excited, too. I think I'll go start the post-game celebration thread...

Relax and have a beer, boys. Let's wait till game time to get hyper.

I can't sleep. And I won't even be able to watch the game till about 2 hours after it finishes. This is nerve wracking.

I have to work a football game at 1. Done by 4, puts me in a tough spot. Do I pick it up live in the 2nd half or start from the beginning? Hmmm....

It is my younger grandson's first birthday tomorrow, and I wouldn't miss for the world! I will have to watch a replay since the birthday party starts at 3:00 PM. It is about a 45 minute drive to get to the party for me. At least I can catch the kick on the car radio.

Go Gophers!

8th!! 8th to reply to the thread that is. So looking forward to heading out to our tailgate and watching today's game, that i am already up and moving around at 5AM. Going to need to pace myself considering the game doesn't start until 2:30.

GO GOPHERS! SKI-U-MAH!

Cant wait to rush the field and get a hand on that axe! Go Gophers

This is the most excited i have been to watch a Michigan State Northwestern match up. That result will either make me extremely excited or nuclear excited.

I decided to start from the beginning and stay away from social media. I decided that if we win, I want the full experience. If we lose, then I really haven't lost anything more than a few hours of my time.

Thanks to my real-life job, I will be at a HS boys basketball game this afternoon. 4:30pm tipoff, so I will listen to the 1st half of the Gopher game in the car on my way to the gym.

I'm taping the game on my DVR. If they win, I'll watch the game tonight. If they don't win, I hit the "delete" button - can't stand to watch the losses when I know the outcome in advance.

Kirk: "This thing's gonna get ugly ... Wisconsin's gonna blow them out."

**** you too.

Gameday was not kind. If I were Kill and coaches - I would play that to the team.

Will be traveling back from a business trip international so I won't get to see it until tomorrow. But a big Ski-U-Mah to Coach Kill and the boys!

Go Gophers!

Our DE and LB are about as overmatched as possible but for Wilson who seems to be fading a bit so let's hope the bye helped him. That said, if our DBs tackle well which they can do and we avoid the big play and win the turnover battle decisively we can pull this off. I would say anything less than +3 on the turnover front and Wisky keeps the axe going away.

Dallas Lewallen, starting center (RS/JR) Out! Starting a RS/FR at center. Eat him up Sheede!

I would like to think that helps us because Lewallen is a good player but given their track record of spitting out lineman I guess we will have to wait and see how good the guy behind him is. Would rather them be missing a tackle because their RB are scary when the get on the outside and turn the corner.

Dan Voltz who will get the start was a high 4* guy coming out of high school. He actually won the job in camp but got hurt in the last week with a lingering injury so Dallas got the start and performed well enough that the coaches never switched back. Voltz has already started games against OSU, BYU and Indiana. Not much of a drop off, although Hageman can give anybody problems. Should be a good matchup. I expect Gory, the LG, will be helping on him most snaps.

In preparation for this game this beauty will get you goin.

False alarm! I am having a senior moment - the wife says it is Sunday.

You can't really get mad at them. That's what the numbers say.

I agree with you, MZ. It's amazing that if someone gives an opinion different from some GopherHolers, they go stark raving mad, and yet turn around and claim they have a right to their own opinion. I don't get it. :banghead:
