Got a mean steak from H3 in the stockyards and some tacos at the Taco Head taco truck. Lots of Maroon and Gold down here. Ski U Mah!!

It's the 1st REAL football game of the year and I'm so excited, I woke up at 2:45am and can't sleep! Can't wait for the game! Can't wait to see how these Gophers fair against a real FBS team.

Plus, I love the matchup and story lines of TCU. TCU has some national respect in my opinion even though they had a down season last year. I think Phil Steele projected them to finish this year in the final top 25.

Will be interesting to see how these Gophers fair in their first true test. Hasn't been good under Kill so far in first true tests of the season (with the exception of USC, but after that, 1st Big Ten games were not good).

Here's to a really fun, entertaining, and competitive game to watch! I hope our Gophers show up, are competitive from the start, with fire and intensity throughout. A relentless demeanor throughout!!! Wanna see them play jacked up and with passion throughout the game no matter what the score!

Just so we're all clear, EIU and MTSU are fake football teams? Oh, and MTSU is just pretending to be FBS?

First true test of the season with pivotal consequences for both teams for the entire season.

Win or lose, the Gophers are going to learn a lot from this game.

I am hoping to see a few wrinkles the Gophers have not shown on the offensive side against a rested Horned Frogs defense. I'd like to see some explosive passing & scoring plays once in a while please.

Likewise, I hope the Gophers defense can match up well against a quick strike spread SEC team.

I will not care about the ratio of running versus passing plays. They must persevere and find a way to win as a team.

Keep healthy and have a great game! Go Gophers!

I wonder if they saved the playbook for this game. Maybe open it up a bit, didn't really need to show much against the first 2 teams...

72 and overcast in Fort Worth today. It was 101 just three days ago. Someone is on the Gophers side.

SEC Team?

Agree, we need to see the Limegrover of last year's Nebraska game.

My gut feel tells me Patterson is more competitive and cutthroat than Kill. Just a feeling I have. We'll see. I'll be curious to see throughout this season if Kill is as intense as he has been since he got here. Just kind of wonder how his lifestyle changes (since his major addressing of his epilepsy) may affect that part of him (Eventually I don't think he can help but being how he's always been from an intensity perspective). I'm not saying that to be an as#, I'm a huge fan and supporter. I'm just really curious to see this matchup and how the season unfolds. Very excited to see them playing a team like TCU and a good friend like Patterson. Man am I jacked up for this game!!! Ski U Mah!!! Brick by Brick!!! All the best to Coach Kill, the coaching staff and players today!!!!

I disagree. Make no mistake, Kill is as competitive as it gets. Patterson might be AS competitive as Jerry, but he's not more competitive. Don't let all the best friend and "I didn't want to play this game" talk fool you. Kill wants to win this one badly just like all the other games.

This game will tell a lot about our young team even though its early in the season. Is our secondary really as good as many think it is and the second half showing against MTSU was nothing to be concerned about? Can the rookies on D hold up and the DL get a pass rush? And can the OL continue to give Cobb/etc the running lanes we need to allow us to get a lead and not depend on Leidner and the young receivers to stay in the game. Will we see any kind of a passing game plan from Limey that Leidner/etc can execute and validate some posters concern that Limey has indeed been "holding back"?

I have had a bad one about this game to the point I picked TCU 31-13.

Hope Charter carries the game up here.

Well - good luck to any of us being able to watch the first quarter. The GD Pitt/FIU game is being postponed for 30 minutes for 'lightning in the area.' This is why I prefer 11am kickoffs...at least we know we can watch the entire game without being dependent on another one ending on time.

Well sh*t. When did the delay start? It might still end in time if the delay isn't extended.

The delay started at about 1:20 or so. It was like halfway through the 3rd. It'll be close. I have a tweet into Fox Sports 1 to see if they may bump it to Fox Sports 2 (if that exists!).

It exists but I don't think I get it with my directv package. Just have to cross our fingers I guess.

Looks like the Pitt-FIU game is about midway through the third.

I have U-Verse and they're going to resume the game at 2:10 on FS2. So the Gophers game should start on time on FS1.

Obviously, I don't know the particulars of your package but I have Directv and Fox Sports 2 is channel 618 and I get it. I don't have any fancy sports package either, fyi.
