***Official Game Thread Gophers vs. Cardinal***

Hard to believe that Ralph sat the entire tournament.

Lets put this game out of mind and concentrate on the awesome bball this team has played over the past 3 weeks and know that everyone is back plus hopefully Trev! Top 20 preseason and roll from there. Go Gophs!

That is, by far, the ugliest, most bizarre final 30 minutes I have ever seen a Tubby Smith Minnesota team play. Absolutely no heart, effort, skill or knowledge. Pathetic and embarrassing. In some ways is taints everything the team did up to then because it proves to everyone that this team can play at such a disgustingly low level.

horrible execution, shot selection and sloppy defense. Outplayed and outcoached for sure.

Stanford is the only good defensive team they've faced since Wisconsin at the end of February. But this one has been bad on both ends of the floor. Rough.

He would be hard pressed to start in the MIAC -- can't handle the ball and can't shoot. Not good for a PG.
Ya because the defensive pressure in D3 is equal to the pressure in D1.

What a f**cking joke! Just call a timeout and pack it up and go to the bus before you embarrass yourself even more or man up and play as a team.

They pressured us on top giving us no respect for our inside game (correctly). We just gave Dre zero help with a ball screen to free him to drive and create. I'm just recalling how effective that play is for Michigan with Burke getting a screen every possession.

Cut the drama. It's only one game.

Layed an egg in this one. Stanford came in with a plan to stop us, and it's working.
