***OFFICIAL FAIRLEIGH DICKINSON AT MINNESOTA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

As long as we're bitching, memo to last night's deejay: you don't have to play music every time just before someone inbounds the ball.
I was watching a throwback Celtics v Knicks, circa 1980 the other night. I called my wife over and said "Listen to this." She said "What, I don't hear anything." I said, "Yep, no canned music and hyped up noise during stopped time." It was a thing of beauty. Plus, Bird and McHale had an outstanding game against Cartwright and the Knicks.
Love the quiet so you can process the game without being told what to think. No wonder the young ones are clamoring for AI to tell them what to think.

DJs should be outlawed at college games. There are 30 pep band members sitting on their hands wondering when they’ll get a chance to play.
But nothing kills momentum and crowd energy by finishing the rouser and then suffer through 1) a commercial for the upcoming gymnastics meet, 2) overblown hip-hop that distorts so bad it’s just noise so you can ā€œget your groove onā€ with Goldy šŸ™„, or 3) some inane 60 second contest for one or more students to win a gas card (last night there was make a free throw by bouncing it off the floor). Game play returns and everyone has calmed down and is taking selfies they submit to be shared in the scoreboard.
I love seeing games live, but the game atmosphere contributes nothing. At least I can watch the road games on TV.

This guy couldn't even announce the players numbers and positions, let alone hometowns yes I am a stickler for these things and keep a scorecard.

If Reynolds dribbles off his own leg again, he shouldn't be allowed to touch the ball unless it's an ally oop. He is the shittiest ball handler in history.
At the start of the season I could not figure why he was even on the floor since his ball handling and decision-making skills were poor. Seemed like when he was in it was one turnover after another. Then it seemed like he started to play more under control, and I assumed Niko had a heart-to-heart talk with him. Now it seems like he is back to his old habits. I leave it to Niko to get him straightened out. He can be a positive contributor if he stays under control.

Yeah I see it like that too. He started feeling more comfortable or whatever it was and then this last game looked like something was wrong. Maybe it's like PJs improvement chart and next game he puts up 25 (points not turnovers).

Raise your hand if you were one of those who said he should never shoot any more 3's. Hypothetical practice (or Gopherhole) conversation. Coach: "Stop shooting 3's until you can make some!" JCJ: "How will I be able to make some if you don't let me shoot them?" Coach: Stop trying to confuse the situation!". :)
I was quite amused by all the posters saying "he should only be allowed to shoot a 2nd 3 if he makes his first attempt of the game, etc." after 2 games had been played haha.

That's generally not how things work, Niko sees these guys in practice everyday and certainly has a much better idea of who should be allowed the green light to launch away.

JCJ's recent shooting has been awesome, will be quite the weapon if he can hit from deep at a 38-40% clip.

Maybe Reynolds can be a sparkplug off the bench. Kai has earned starter minutes with his hustle alone
I like Kai decently enough, he plays hard and has a nice shooting stroke...but no chance he can be starting or playing more minutes than Reynolds right now.

Reynolds had a super rough night against FDU but let's calm down a little bit.
