Back at it. We’ve won 1 game since November 25. We are now at the exciting Fairleigh Dickinson and Morgan St portion of the home schedule. Crowd will be rocking.

Johnson has had nearly 2 weeks to figure out the mess he’s created, a blowout win over a bad FDU team is where it needs to begin.

I always think of Fairleigh Dickinson as "Fairly Ridiculous" - because that is what 'Eddie Wilson' called the school in the cult classic rock-n-roll movie "Eddie and the Cruisers."

if you haven't seen the movie, it tells the story of a fictional early rock-n-roll band based in New Jersey. and of course, FDU is in New Jersey.

honestly, not the greatest movie in the world, but a really good sound track provided by John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band - Jersey bar-band stuff in the mode of Southside Johnny. I swear this movie used to run on HBO at least once a week.

The section 101 season ticket holders are going primarily to support our seat neighbors who still want to go. If the department had a lick of sense they would give a stocking cap or other gift to anyone who shows up for the next two games. Show some appreciation. Alas, the powers-that-be are generally indifferent to their fans.

They are selling cheap tickets to people who DO NOT buy season tickets and doing nothing for the remaining season ticket holders that continue to soldier on. I am all for letting everyone in cheap at this point. Season ticket holders should be getting a partial refund. I no longer am one so I have no axe to grind there.

Yet another fantastic offensive performance from the Gophers. Good thing FDU is ranked so low in defensive statistics.
 

I dunno what you guys are so upset about.
I'm proud of Ben Johnson's overmatched but plucky Gopher squad for sticking with a blueblood like FDU for a half!
