Not even funny. He has a program in place to win here. Give the man time. He's gonna make us relevant whether people or not like it. I truly believe Richard has a goal to make this program a success, just like Bo did in Madison and Coach K did at Duke. My chips are in...

It seems this is our April fools joke every year :(

Got some UW friends on FB with an "OMG Diamond Stone switches commitment to Wisconsin?!" post.

My favorite was while at the U, the Daily had an article with "Hasselmo to close CLA". This was right on the heels of a big close General College controversy and it was really well done. April Fools in meant to lighten the mood.

My favorite - from when I was there - was a spoof issue set many years in the future. This was when Clem was in his second season and had the long conference losing streak and was talking about turning the corner eventually. In the future, Clemette (his daughter) was now coaching the team, and they were still talking about the big turnaround being right around the corner. Todd Alexander Jr. was their standout guard. In the game report, they had been down 35 points but Alexander made it respectable by sinking a 25-point field goal late in the game - from the top of the opposite key. It was funny stuff.

I don't remember, 90, 91 something like that. Big picture of Hasselmo with a huge frown and they said they just didn't have money to keep CLA open...

I feel like they did taht when I was in school in the mid 2000s as well? Or did they actually close the CLA?
