***OFFICIAL ALCORN STATE AT MINNESOTA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

I attended the game today.

1. They dont sell lemonade or anything kid friendly. Kinda insane to me.
2. Drew’s popcorn is still amazing
3. Gophers have some nice players and play a good/fun/interesting style of basketball.
4. They’ll beat some good teams if they stay healthy.
5. In Niko I Trust

Just getting to comments about the first game I watched.

I like that there actually different plays called on offense. You do not see the same set every time down the court. There was good ball movement.
That being said, I was not overly impressed with any of the players. I am not certain they will be able to do much in the Big 10.
I was not impressed with Cade Tyson nor Durkin. Tyson has no short or mid range shot he can rely on. Every time he took it to the hoop he had zero chance of the ball being near the backboard.

I liked that we drew fouls.

I liked Crocker-Johnson and Willis the most out of all the players.
Vaihola is a load, but he didn't seem to have a shot, just drew fouls.

I couldn't disagree more about Tyson. I think he'll easily end up being our top scorer and I thought he showed touch around the rim.
Durkin is too slow, but he'll serve a purpose.
Big Rob seems to have great hands and can finish around the rim.
They're undersized but seem to have a knack for the ball and everyone seems bought in as of now. Was nice to see Turner out there getting some run.
