***OFFICIAL ALCORN STATE AT MINNESOTA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Interesting. With no football today, you would’ve thought there would be a slightly larger crowd.

My 1st time watching Nico’s team. I know they r playing an inferior team but I guess coaching does really matter, lol. Go Gophers !

I read that Pharell Payne made his first 13 free throws this year. It is a skill that can be taught.

Pretty dominating half. It didn’t feel like Asuma wanted that last shot. He just needs that killer mentality.

Only down side of the half was they were pretty inefficient on offense after that first 5 minutes or so. If the shooting was on, this score would look even more lopsided.

On the other side of the coin, we led by 31 at the half with so-so shooting. That's a sign of solid basketball on both ends.

Obviously can't read a ton into things given the caliber of the opponent but nice to see the team playing really well together right from the start again and dominating a bad opponent.

I like how fundamentally sound the defense has been.
Lots of assists as well. Willing to move the ball to get the best shot.

Probably good for us that Alcorn is pressing as well.....good chance to work on breaking press and things like that.
