Official 2026 Roster Movement Thread - Who's In and Who's Out?

We might find out if it was how we utilized (or failed to utilize) Coleman. He clearly isn’t ideal in a dunk and dunk passing game. He’s built to stretch the field. I wish him success in life but another season of irrelevance with the Badgers.
Yeah… I’m not sure Wisconsin is the offense to find that out.

Maybe it is on us but through 3 years he hasn't been able to make an impact at either of his two stops so far. Maybe it all comes together for him with the Badgers but if i was placing a bet, my bet would be that at this time next year he is moving on to team number 4.

Hopefully he doesn't pull a John Nestor and blow up for our rival. Guess we will just have to wait and see.

Is what it is with guys leaving but wish players would transfer out of the Big Ten as opposed to going to another conference team. :)

Pace of movement has definitely slowed quite a bit past few days. Guessing we are either done or close to done, at least for the time being.

The Badgers will be Coleman's 3rd B1G school. Wish the kid success in life, but hope that for him the third time isn't the charm. He'd be a match-up nightmare if he ever got his sh@t together as a player. On the other hand, I think that Dylan Wright was probably a better athlete than Coleman and it never really worked out for him ...

Agree on hoping it doesn't click for him next year. It is always crazy with WR when you see guys like Coleman and Wright who have all the physical tools but for one reason or another it just doesn't work out for them.

Happens across all positions but is especially common at the WR position.

Someone remind me who beat him out in fall camp? Also, he's listed at 340, wasn't there whispers that he had a hard time keeping his weight down which led to him falling on the depth chart? Or am I going crazy and imagining someone else?

I thought Wright was actually really good but we didn't really have the offense or team to make him into a star wideout like the 2019 guys. I know this board doesn't like the kid but I thought he was just here at a bad time

Agreed. Although Harbaugh was pass-heavy last year, he's clearly not a "let's feed our athletes on the outside and try to get them in 1v1 situations" like Kirk did. That said, these guys saw Coleman in practice and in the film room. Could be as simple as them not trusting him with the playbook. Maybe Smith and Tracy really are better and beat him out in practice.

He was playing at OT so beat out by Roy and Ray. I believe he got injured at Washington and was out for spring camp. He put on a lot of weight while injured and it was indicated he was having issues getting back into playing shape in fall camp.

I think there was more to it than this take. He made some really good plays but he was far too inconsistent and made several boneheaded plays.

Also, remember that Tanner Morgan was his QB and Tanner was good enough to get the ball to Bateman and Johnson.

You’re right. He gained weight due to injury at the start of fall camp and wasn’t able to lose it.
