I get that but true freshman WR usually take some time to get up to speed. Hoping the other older guys take a development step

yeah they took 3 transfer WR in the last 2 classes and 2 in the class before that.....WR options in the portal are plentiful every year.
with 5 WR's left on the roster and 5 WR's signed in this years class i would think they will still look for 1-2 transfers as we currently stand

Fleck did call out Stevens on his "rare trait speed" as a potential to get him on the field as a true freshman.

Hopefully, Stevens’ track speed (10.38) being more significant than Hoskins’ (11.02) translates to the field as they seem to be the same size and we saw how much Hoskins struggled to see the field.

Added Lyons and Driver to the transfers out group.

Can see why they went heavy on WR in the recruiting class.

Yep....nothing to stop them from making their intentions known even if the portal is not officially open.

I wonder if these players will go on the bowl trip.

I'd obviously leave it to the people that will be on the team next year, and I can't believe the staff wouldn't want it that way too. Plus the fact that I don't think anyone was a contributor this year, minus maybe Lanier who was barely one

Yeah, these guys probably clear out and are no longer around the team during bowl prep and what not. Suppose you could work something out if there were depth concerns for the game itself but as you said most of these guys are fringe guys who weren't in the mix anyway.

How are these high school kids allowed to announce they're committed to school X if they aren't actually allowed to sign a NLI yet?
