While not a guarantee a transfer will be successful I have noticed that over the past two seasons we are landing a lot more power 4 transfers then we used to.

Fleck has navigated NIL extremely well for a coach at a mid tier P4 school, might be the most successful coach with it at his tier?

Will be interesting to see how this all plays out, especially with potential 105 player roster limit. I don't think the Gophers were really ever far over 105, so we may not be as impacted as some other program.

Saw that Ryerse may never play football as he is a starting pitcher for the Gopher baseball team. He may have put football on the back burner.

Under the old system you could have 85 scholarship players and 20 walk-ons to get to 105.

Now you just get 105, so I don't think 8-10 spots for LS, P, K, and Holder is out of the question. Still have 95-97 spots for all other players.
 



Whichever punter can do better than 34 yards hoping for no return and a roll. Australian style can be great when it works but if it is a good returner and they run up to catch or field before the roll it is terrible. Good to see there are some options this season.

Can't see them carrying 4 punters so would make sense if maybe Ryerse is focusing on baseball or something like that. Hopefully this doesn't mean McGrath is out of the mix but might be the case.
