Blake Cashman.....Man it was cool to see a walk-on blossom into a contributor. Or even if they didn't, to see just a little bit of the field before they graduated and moved on to something else in life. I guess those days are gone.
He committed one day after he entered the portal so he knew something about UMN already.
Fleck has navigated NIL extremely well for a coach at a mid tier P4 school, might be the most successful coach with it at his tier? While not a guarantee a transfer will be successful I have noticed that over the past two seasons we are landing a lot more power 4 transfers then we used to.
I don't care if it's D2, not allowing a return yard ALL SEASON is crazy.
Will be interesting to see how this all plays out, especially with potential 105 player roster limit. I don't think the Gophers were really ever far over 105, so we may not be as impacted as some other program.LMAO How many punters are we gonna have on roster?? Isn't Ryerse supposed to be awesome too?
Can't see them carrying 4 punters so would make sense if maybe Ryerse is focusing on baseball or something like that. Hopefully this doesn't mean McGrath is out of the mix but might be the case. Will be interesting to see how this all plays out, especially with potential 105 player roster limit. Saw that Ryerse may never play football as he is a starting pitcher for the Gopher baseball team. He may have put football on the back burner.
Under the old system you could have 85 scholarship players and 20 walk-ons to get to 105.
Now you just get 105, so I don't think 8-10 spots for LS, P, K, and Holder is out of the question. Still have 95-97 spots for all other players.
