First victory against Ohio State since 1988,Unreal! Hand Mendoza his Heisman, he is the real deal!
But they didn't buy a Heisman winner. They bought a guy who was a really good college QB and made him a Heisman winner.Having a billionaire buy you a Heisman winner does make a difference, it turns out.
Indeed, IU 2025 is significantly different than IU 2024, because of the QB.
2024 IU exactly equals 2024 Vikings season:
- won a bunch of (easy) games, whoopty doo
- didn't even make the conf championship game, let alone win it = lose to Lions and thus did not win North
- made the playoff, whoopty doo
- didn't win a playoff game
That was a meaningless season.
Looks like 2025 IU will be different.
Hey I have a somewhat lower-toned voice, but when i am overcome with joyful emotion, I cannot control the pitch of my voice either lolSomething not quite right with that boy lol
#2 Ohio State.
They'll rematch in the Natty. Ohio State will win
Loved that interview. This interview with Mendoza is concerning.
lol 2024 was a historic year for IU as a program, for sure not meaningless.Having a billionaire buy you a Heisman winner does make a difference, it turns out.

Like Kirk Cousins but even weirder. This interview with Mendoza is concerning.
This has to be one of the best turn around in sports history. And thats even before the playoffs start. That is a legit title favoriteCongrats Hoosiers! Always glad to OSU lose...went to a lot of bad Indiana games as a kid and the Fuckeyes were the worst fans of all.
How so?Ryan Day was also out coached today.
It's working better than the Life Program we are running. Is cignetti starting a cult?
Got screwed over on the clear first down.Definitely possible, Came up short tonight.
Probably want old John cougar and Cuban to dump millions into the NIL fund before you ramp up the replace fleck yesterday campaign. It's not happening hereIt's working better than the Life Program we are running.
He's better than good. Indiana was 3-9 two years ago. He is one of the greatest coaches the sport has seen in a long time.If Cignetti was some football genius, he would have:
- found a way to beat NDSU back when JMU was in FCS -- NOPE
- found a way to actually get into the conference championship game when JMU won 11 games in 2023 -- NOPE
- found a way to actually get into the conference championship game in IU won 11 games in 2024 -- NOPE
2025 is different because Mark Cuban decided to buy IU a Heisman winner from another school.
Cignetti didn't do that.
He hasn't figured anything out that no one else knows. I'm sure he's good ... but he's not some genius.
He got lucky as hell in 2023 and 2024.
Got screwed over on the clear first down.
Kicker biffed it
Too bad Bob Dylan didn't like football.Probably want old John cougar and Cuban to dump millions into the NIL fund before you ramp up the replace fleck yesterday campaign. It's not happening here
Too bad Bob Dylan didn't like football.
Again, they did not buy Travis Hunter. They bought a decent ACC quarterback. They had money and they spent it correctly. That counts for somethingIf Cignetti was some football genius, he would have:

Why are you acting like it was the exact same players that went 3-9?He's better than good. Indiana was 3-9 two years ago. He is one of the greatest coaches the sport has seen in a long time.

It's OK. We dominate them in basketball now.I can’t wrap my head around Indiana winning the conference in my lifetime before Minnesota
So he helped re-build the program. And went 24-2 over a 26-game stretch. It's going to go down as one of the greatest turn-arounds in sports history. I'm not sure what could change the narrative at this point. Why are you acting like it was the exact same players that went 3-9?
He brought in all new players.
Dude, come on.If Cignetti was some football genius, he would have:

What took him so long to get to D1 football? Late bloomer? He's better than good. Indiana was 3-9 two years ago. He is one of the greatest coaches the sport has seen in a long time.
