I hope I'm wrong on Purdue but I think they're getting better, played us really close last year, and we haven't been able to avoid the headscratching away loss in recent years (Iowa, Illinois). And Kinnick has been a nightmare for us. Season would be a success for me b/c of the win over Wisconsin.

So many games this year will go down to the wire.
My likely losses are: TCU and Ohio St.
Likely wins: CSU Kent St Ohio
Too close to call All the Rest.
Remember Purdue, Northwestern, Nebraska and Illinois all came down to the final 5 minutes.
The difference between 10-2 and 6-6 will likely be a few key plays

I've got the same board as you, though I'm 50/50 on predicting 7-5 (4-4) -- winning two of Nebraska/Michigan/Wisconsin again (preferably including the finale this time) will be the difference.
 

7-5 to 9-3.

There are no real gimmes even Illinois & Purdue will play us tough.

Everything has to be aligned perfectly with the stars - ST play, OL health, WRs stepping up party, RBs emerging, & Leidner's health.

9-4 with a bowl victory... I think we have a slide mid-season against the "helmets", Gopherhole implodes, and then we recover nicely with 4 straight wins including the bowl.

This is similar to what I was thinking, but I would maybe substitute the Purdue loss with a loss to either Nebraska or Michigan.

Lose close to TCU, repeat of 2013 game vs Neb, drop a disappointing game to Michigan, lose a close one to Iowa on the road (who finishes 4-4 in the BT), but finally beat Wisconsin. We take care of business against lesser teams, even on the road.

Finish 8-4, 5-3, second in the West behind Wisconsin (who finishes 6-2 in conference) due to our tougher cross-division schedule. We add a bowl win (my guess is Outback) and finish 9-4. We're all licking our chops for 2016 when we get PSU, Maryland, and Rutgers from the other side while Wisconsin gets OSU & MSU.

I think we lose to TCU & OSU and have one "let down" game, thus the NW loss. I think we play OSU in the B1G championship and give them a tight game.

After two consecutive losses to start the season, Gophers pull their head out of their ass and only suffer a close loss at Ohio State. Their three losses will be by a combined 12 points. Face Ohio State for the Big Ten Championship. No prediction on ho this game ends up.

I'm really not sure how I feel about this season. I'm starting to grow more concerned about our OL/TE health and WR's. Although we have some talent at WR it is very young and Leidner is inconsistent. As of now Maye is probably the only pass catcher we have that has done anything.

I have us 8-4 as I believe we will be better later in the season than in the beginning. However ia, wi, Mich and even Co. St. could go sideways for us.

I really hope I'm worrying about nothing. Go Gophs!
 

This is awesome. Even those that are concerned about the season are predicting 8 wins, which would have the team with 3 straight 8-win seasons. MN hasn't done that since 1900-1905!

That being said: TCU, tOSU are likely losses, and I think we lose one we don't expect, like NW or Purdue. And last but not least, I think we lose to WI. I mostly say this because WI almost always does the opposite of what I want them to do, especially during bowl season (remember the 3 straight Rose Bowl losses?). That means if I predict WI to win, they will lose, right? :)

I think it's a tougher game than people realize. I could see us at 7-1 before the OSU game and being super pumped for that game and playing them closer than many people expect. That could cause us to be a little sluggish going into Iowa, on the road, against a team that will be out for revenge.
