Best defense in years. Waited 8 years to see a Conference championship level defense. Play like that every possession of every game and you get a championship.
 


Shots not falling, don’t think the shot selection was horrible but definitely could be better. Love the defense, very weird to feel like we missed an opportunity to pull ahead while we’re up 20.
 




Anyone else feel like the whole gophers team looks gassed, especially on offense?? Wonder if there’s a little bit of a hangover from the big overtime, Christmas, upset win, hard to get emotionally hyped for this again.

Can’t complain too much about the game so far!
 




This is one of the best free throw shooting teams I’ve seen in years. Should help us close out some big ten games.

I wouldn't say gassed, but they're working harder for sure. Product of playing an Izzo team v. a Mccaffrey team IMO.
 

And Wisconsin is in fouling mode....down 66-59 at home against Maryland with 24.5 seconds remaining.

Hard to believe that we're beating Mich State so badly this half. Our offense is pretty helter skelter but the defense is even better than it was the first half against Iowa. This could be a great night. Beat Michigan State and Wisconsin losing.
 



Caught up. Wow. Wasn’t expecting that. Defense and rebounding have been outstanding.

Got tangled up with Carr on a ball screen and got knocked down. Then as he was recovering and going to the other side of the court to find his guy, he got clipped on another screen (I thought it was illegal) and went down again. Since that point, his defense on MSU's best player has been terrific.

Although MSU has missed some easy shots (looks familiar) Gophers have done a pretty good job with their half-court defense. Good solid minutes from everybody on the bench. And we're getting better position and clearing the defensive boards better.

Offense has gotten a little sticky at a few points, but MSU can do that to you defensively. On the other hand, we've had some possessions where we certainly could have used the extra pass. Hopefully, we'll be a little crisper in the 2nd half.

back to the 20 pt high water mark tho. Liam done sucked Sparty dry tonight.

Well they have 3 games this week against ranked teams so hopefully they still have some in the tank.
