Two straight weeks and no, zero, nada, zilch, zippo offensive touchdowns. Against South Dakota and an Iowa team that could only score 12 points. Let's see how Brewster tries to spin this horse sh*t. We all expressed some concern about the DC hire, but we were all wrong! Our D has played pretty well this year.

The offense? Everything is wrong. Brewster hired a coach to run the spread, but he had Mason's players that were recruited for a pro style offense. They then recruited very well for two years to run the spread and he pulls a 360 and hires a new coach to run a pro style offense. The new system has been even worse than the spread.

The new system was introduced prior to last year's bowl game so this isn't a new deal. In a full year (bowl game & practice, spring practice and 12 games) our O line hasn't learned how to block, the QB hasn't learned how to check off his receivers and what is really obvious, the receivers haven't learned how to run routes.

I'm holding on to a cool aide induced belief that the incoming and red shirted linemen will make a difference. Certainly there isn't anyone standing between them and a lot of playing time.
