I see what you did there.Throwing stuff on the field is getting out of hand.
agree on both accounts and on the bold, this year when the fans stormed the field both my buddy and I looked at each other and said no thanks. Feels like its less and less about the significance of the win and just desiring to be on the field and say you did it. Kind of the same with court storming in basketball.Storming the field and throwing trash on the field are both getting pretty old this year. Of the two though the throwing trash thing has got to stop, it accomplishes absolutely nothing other than delaying the game and potentially injuring someone down on the field who doesn't deserve it. Amazes me how entitled some fans feel....I would never even think of launching a beer can or bottle of water onto the field no matter how disgusted I was by a call or something that happened during the game.
The sad part is that the trash throwing has now happened at multiple college football locations in recent weeks. These people will never learn good sportsmanship, the next home game will be worse.
Then the Colorado game.
Ball boy is apparently supposed to retrieve the ball... it's actually texas tech's ball in that case.Did you all see the ball boy exchange at the end of the game. Everyone involved is at fault there IMO.
Ball boy should have asked for the ball back as opposed to just slapping it out of Shilo's hand but Deion Sanders Jr. was a complete thug in the situation and those saying he was just sticking up for his brothers are wrong in my opinion. He didn't need to come in and shove the ball boy or get up in his face the way he did.Did you all see the ball boy exchange at the end of the game. Everyone involved is at fault there IMO.
Yup, I was actually a little embarrassed watching the field fill up with fans after the USC game.agree on both accounts and on the bold, this year when the fans stormed the field both my buddy and I looked at each other and said no thanks. Ball boy was doing his job just wasn't real smart about the way he did it.Ball boy is apparently supposed to retrieve the ball... it's actually texas tech's ball in that case.
At least our fans don't take it to the stupidity level they do in the SEC where now the big thing seems to be tearing down the goal posts and throwing them into a body of water.Yup, I was actually a little embarrassed watching the field fill up with fans after the USC game.
Seriously? It looked like everyone was behaving themselves and the team was enjoying the party on the field. I didn't storm the field but had a lot of fun watching the party. I thought it was pretty cool.Yup, I was actually a little embarrassed watching the field fill up with fans after the USC game.
would really hope the vikings tag them both as do not draft. hard to know what to make of hunter and whether the sanders circus will follow him. he certainly is much quieter comparatively but seems like almost all the colorado players are cancerous as far as culture goesBall boy should have asked for the ball back as opposed to just slapping it out of Shilo's hand but Deion Sanders Jr. was a complete thug in the situation and those saying he was just sticking up for his brothers are wrong in my opinion. Always something with the Sanders family.....here's hoping neither of Deion's kids ends up on the Vikings, let some other team deal with the circus and chaos that follows that family around.
Plenty of blame to go around but the ball boy needs to be smarter there and just wait until they are done celebrating before going to get the ball back.
I don't think I would shy away from drafting Hunter but want nothing to do with Shilo or Shadeur, especially Shadeur. He has early round QB bust written all over him.would really hope the vikings tag them both as do not draft. hard to know what to make of hunter and whether the sanders circus will follow him. he certainly is much quieter comparatively but seems like almost all the colorado players are cancerous as far as culture goes
I feel like if you're doing your job and ... some asshole (and his randos around him there for no reason) take issue because they're assholes. Problem is with the assholes.Ball boy was doing his job just wasn't real smart about the way he did it.
The only people to blame for that is the Texas officiating crew. The fans threw stuff on the field and it literally gave the refs time to meet (aka watch the replay on the video board) and change the call. I would never throw anything on the field, but I don't blame fans that do - especially when doing so helps the home team. The sad part is that the trash throwing has now happened at multiple college football locations in recent weeks.
The really annoying part is it only takes a few fans to get it started and then the mob mentality kicks in and others join in.
Bad behavior by fans is not a new concept but it seems to be becoming more and more common.
yeah agreed. Hunter is a very unique talent and seems like as close to a sure fire thing at the next level as you can get. More just a question of if you get Deion's baggage that comes with him and if that affects him at all.I don't think I would shy away from drafting Hunter but want nothing to do with Shilo or Shadeur, especially Shadeur. He has early round QB bust written all over him.
Deion's going to be too busy meddling with his son's pro careers to worry about what happens with Hunter.yeah agreed. Agree that Texas officials made the situation worse by changing a call during the delay caused by idiot fans but that doesn't excuse other fans from doing it and it certainly doesn't make it right. The only people to blame for that is the Texas officiating crew. Iowa to the SEC?At least our fans don't take it to the stupidity level they do in the SEC where now the big thing seems to be tearing down the goal posts and throwing them into a body of water.
Probably right. Dad would be more concerned about sons.Deion's going to be too busy meddling with his son's pro careers to worry about what happens with Hunter.
Quick fix approach for a new coach using the portal and bringing along a bunch of his players is certainly an option now.....the real trick at a place like Indiana especially will be sustaining it.Probably right. Dad would be more concerned about sons.
Way out of left field. It's interesting that Indiana's coach quietly took a page out of coach Sanders book and pulled in IIRC 31 transfers. Whether some of us fans like it or not some of his ideas have worked.
Yes. Seriously. In my opinion it wasn't a field-storming moment.Seriously? It looked like everyone was behaving themselves and the team was enjoying the party on the field. I didn't storm the field but had a lot of fun watching the party. I thought it was pretty cool.
