Tim Brewster never stated, "Our expectation is to win a Big Ten championship now." That is an outright fabrication.
 

Never mind. I found a transcript of his opening press conference, and he actually did say that. It was a stupid thing to say.
 

A lot of Brewster's first year he was trying to encourage the masses concerning Gopher football. Maybe he should have approached it differently, but given the incredible negativity the FB team and the U has had to endure over the years, a little positive attitude was refreshing...

Agree 100%. It was nice to hear someone say that we can be a champion. It is the same "culture change" that Kill is preaching. (Let's not start nitpicking...)

F USC. Let's start day one of the 2011 season.
 


This is the first review of the current Gophers team that actually gave us a fair review. It's also the first I've read to respect Gray and Kill for what they bring to the table.

The OC Register has good sportswriters, unlike that garbage, the L.A. Times.

I would personally be offended, and any coach should fired, if they weren't trying/expecting/aiming to win a B1G championship. That should be the goal each and every year, no questions asked.

I couldn't agree more. Goal, yes. Expectation? At a school with a losing record over the last 50 years, and no conference championships in that timeframe? No.

Respect is earned. Kill has earned respect as a coach, but not as a Gopher coach. Just wait, after he starts winning, more articles will come out with glowing things to say about Kill.

As much as I love reading non-homer articles on our own Coach Kill and company.. I can't wait until kick off. Seriously.. UGH
