Herve Villechaize was underrated as an air traffic controller.Have they consulted this expert ?
Potential upside.
More likely response: They adopt softball like norms for early round pods and make geography a criterion to keep teams closer to home so they can bus instead of taking up valuable charter flight space. Des Moines wouldn’t be a bad postseason home for the Gophers.Translation, they should keep the The Field at 68.
That's why I only fly private. I'm only 6' 1" but those commercial seats are just unacceptableI recall flying home to Chicago from SFO after a business meeting back in 2007. The Stanford men’s basketball team boarded for their game at Northwestern and sat in coach. It was painful to watch Brook and Robin Lopez try to fold their 7-foot frames into those tiny seats and sit like that for four and a half hours. I realized then how invaluable charters are for abnormally large athletes.
Yep. Logistics is why it didn’t expand this current year.. the NCAA said it was evaluating potential expansion making it sound like they were still considering 68… but logistically they couldn’t get it worked out for 2026…Translation, they should keep the The Field at 68.

Brook survived and is still banging 3s in the league. Weird career but I hope he can fly first class now
He's had good physical therapists over the years, I imagine. And, now he flies charters with full lie-down seats. That's how a 38-year-old can still be banging in the NBA.Brook survived and is still banging 3s in the league. Weird career but I hope he can fly first class now
