Focus ahead. Great win last night, but focus on the next step. A loss to Northwestern would sour this win for me.
They (the Wildcats) lost a game they should've won against Purdue last night. We won as emotional game as I've seen us win in a long, long time. Will Northwestern be even more hungry after coming so close, or will they wilt after blowing a big game? Will the Gophers ride the wave of momentum, or will they be drained against a "lesser" opponent? The Wildcats' gym is a funky place and always seems good for a head-scratcher or two during the season.
All I know is that if we overlook Northwestern on Sunday, we'll be on the wrong end of the scoreboard. Keep it up, Gophers! One step at a time!
