Northwestern home games

35k seats.

Video does not look like 35k.

Interesting too that they're selling this on an "NFL" like experience. IMO that might be a mistake, if you want an NFL experience you got that in Chicago ... no need to go out to Northwestern for that.
Have you seen the Bears play in the last 30+ years? Many of their fans would argue that theirs has been very far away from "an NFL experience." :) And, this place will be infinitely nicer than Soldier Field, and will be until (when/if) the Bears build their new stadium.

And yet Bears fans keep going to games!

Been reading more on this and saw that the AD claims they make more off the 12,000 seat stadium this year than the 47,000 seat stadium they had. It's all about premium seating. They had 350 in the old stadium. Premium seats will go from about 10% of revenue to being 40-50% of game day revenue.

The cool thing is the investment to the area around the stadium. They don't want people lined up to enter the stadium, but rather "enter the grounds" for the experience at their leisure.

Would love to see MN expand the grounds of the stadium for pre game activities and socializing. Even put some bars up on the East end of the upper deck. People get in early and go to seats at their leisure.

Agree - would also like some type of exits off the back of 200 level - the single concourse sucks - major design flaw

I guess they could crank down the numbers further ...

I do think there's diminishing returns and that while nobody wants a 100k stadium anymore and luxury does bring in money ... you could conceivably take that to absurd levels and just net lose fans / engagement.
