Rivals 9th rated dual purpose QB Matt Alviti committed to Northwestern today. Alviti had narrowed his choices to Notre Dame, Mich St and Northwestern and announced his choice at the Wildcat's spring game. Alviti plays in a spread offense at Park Ridge, ILL HS and is rated the 207th player in the 2013 class by Rivals. He joins 5 star WR Kyle Prater who transferred from USC and who hopes to play this fall. Alviti is touted as a bigger Dan Persa.
