Just wondering if anybody found any tailgating options around campus that will be available on a game-by-game basis.
My group ended up at the East River Flats lot, and we were thoroughly disappointed, even for $10. We arrived at 3:00 and got one of the last spots available on asphalt. Except there were fewer than 10 groups actually tailgating -- and you couldn't really even see many of them. Most people parked and left, so it wasn't very festive. (They had cones set up on the grass as if they would allow parking there, but in the end there were no cars there.)
We did see another option for $25 at the other end of campus (somewhere around 27th Ave. and 4th St.., Great location, but there was only one tailgater in that lot at the time, so we thought we'd keep looking. It was across the street from a pretty full and fun-looking tailgate lot that was marked "private" and didn't seem to be a U of M lot. Probably should've stayed there.
