Of course there are no Gophers playing in this, but the Houk's have taken their Montana State team to their first Post Season. Some of those on their roster are from Minnesota. Below is a tribute article to that accomplishment and the website to the NIVC Tournament that might interest some of you.

Montana State vs. Wichita State at 1pm today. No matter the results today it has been a heck of a run. The talk is Wichita State should win. For sure it is airing on ESPN+.

Montana State will be losing their leading OH, after this season. Some fans are hoping if Hanson leaves she would consider going there to play for him. And, of course, others are saying that will more than likely not happen.

I do know he has recruited a couple of other Minnesota players for next season.

As expected Wichita moves onto the Finals in the NIVC. However, by all means it was an outstanding season for Montana State and the Houks. Next year will be even more interesting to see, if this program can improve even more. One thing for sure there is a definite difference in these D1 tournaments of 64 and 32. We all know College Budgets make a difference.
