Yup, a win over Purdue would have given the Gophers a good shot at the tourney. Now there is likely no chance. Next year Tubbyball is gonna have to take the next step and put together some consistent offense somehow.

Penn State won the NIT last year and sucks this year.

There is nothing good going from NCAA last year to NIT this year with essentially the same team (looked NIT bound even before Nolen was gone).

max, might not be good, but we have to face facts. The tournament pressure and exp. would be good for these Fr. and sophs.
