Lots of Kentucky hate on the internet, but I think we'd all gladly accept that season in exchange for a title... and let's be honest, they'll probably be a preseason Top 5 again next year. Really fun game, and congrats to Robert Morris.

Kentucky fans can say what they want about Tubby, but he never lead them to the NIT, let alone a first round exit in the NIT!

Even worse for UK fans, Rupp Arena is being used by Louisville. Give Louisville Rupp, make UK go on the road to Moon Township, PA and lose to Robert Morris. Come home to Louisville fans dissing you. Can't think of a coach who deserved this type of season more.
That was a cool experience for Robert Morris' players, coaches, students, and alumni! I don't get the Coach Cal bashing at all, I'd take 3 seasons like UK just had this season for one season like they had last year...hell I'd probably take a 10 for 1 trade.
During the games broadcast they mentioned Sunday night at about 9:15. As soon as UK saw who they were playing, fans went to the Robert Morris website and got the coaches email. Then proceeded to send him multiple trash talking e-mails.
Personally, I'm glad to see their fans do that and lose.

People feed the beast too often with Kentucky, I've always disliked them (even more under Cal) so I ignore them. Clearly there is a hole in the one and done philosophy in that it can result in wild inconsistencies year over year, for all we know right now they could be in the National Title game next year.

Coach Cal is a shady character, but he's a good coach and a classy guy in the public spotlight. It's the hoard of unbalanced Wildcat fans that besmirch the university.

This. When everything clicks, you have a great team. If not, yikes. The next NBA lockout will benefit them if everything remains the same. (one-and-done and Cal still at Kentucky)

they get over it pretty quickly-- Julius Randle to Kentucky next year (or next fall semester, don't bother with classes the 2nd semester, go pro after the season)

I'm guessing Kentucky will be the first team to go from National Champions to losing in the 1st round of the NIT and then being ranked in the top 10 in the preseason polls next season. How good could there team be? Even assuming Noel is gone, but Goodwin, Cauley-Stein, and Poythress have all said they plan to return to Kentucky but who knows if they stick to that.

I'm sure some of these guys aren't on scholarship but you gotta think there will be some of these guys looking to transfer and according to ESPN they are still in the running for #1 SF Andrew Wiggins, #2 PF Andrew Gordon, and #23 PG Aquille Carr.
I'm a Kentucky fan. I want to wish the gophers the best against UCLA. Send Ben to the unemployment line. That Robert Morris game was god awful. Some of the worst basketball I've seen all year (by UK). Anyway on till next year, 212 days till midnight madness.
Jon Hood and Jarrod Polson have graduated. I would guess they will return. I don't think Coach would pull their scolly with them being a senior next year. Sam Malone, Brialn Long and Tod Lanter are on scholarship this year, but are walk-on practice players. They are gone. Some chatter that Kyle Wiltjer may transfer.
UK will be two deep at each position with a top 20 player. I don't think 40-0 is attainable, but one can only hope. If Andrew Wiggins selects the Cats, then the odds increase.
