Reminds me of Bud Grant for the Vikings. They paid him an annual consulting salary after he retired.

Detroit Lions wanted Grant to coach for them. The Vikings kept him happy and retired in Minnesota.

Detroit Lions wanted Grant to coach for them. The Vikings kept him happy and retired in Minnesota.

For some reason Winter Park had an on site gas pump and Bud negotiated free gas too.
