Nick Rallis makes his DC debut tonight…

Cards beat Sean Payton and the Broncos 18 to 17. Feel so bad for Sean Payton and his self proclaimed coaching genius to have to suffer a loss in his debut. Poor guy.
Rallis just wins!!

Strong words about AZ Cardinals DC Nick Rallis from Cardinals HC Jonathan Gannon. The Cardinals are a very, very well coached team that just happens to still be pretty short on talent at the moment. A strong offseason from the Front Office and this should be a team to look out for. From Gannon today, during discussion that Cardinals OC Drew Petzing is getting HC interviews:

“When I say we have a bunch of guys in there that are going to be head coaches, he (Rallis) is one of them. I know that,” Gannon said Monday. “From a development standpoint, from a schematic standpoint about understanding the game, defense and offense. This guy got hired multiple times, by me I guess, but by Zim (Cowboys defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer) first.

“He’s ascended extremely quickly because he is talented. I’ll say this, I think I’m a hard worker, but there’s no one that works harder than this guy. Point blank. He is the hardest worker we have on our staff. I’ll tell anyone that. When you put those together: a lot of talent, a lot of work ethic and a growth mindset, typically you can become a good coach. He has it all.”

Can see Cashman going into coaching too, but if he has a long career, maybe he just enjoys life after football.
